In the performative fragment Dead Angle Defect we talk to our blind spots from multiple perspectives.
Blind spot - a visual field defect, undetectable, unnoticed, calculated away from the brain. Scotoma, insensitivity to light, no image recognition possible. Dark tissue, fields without fortune, exclusion fields. Dead Angle behind me in my back invisible. A driving license, shoulder views, signs, accidents, rear view mirrors, material damage, danger to life, intersections, cameras, image recognition, reflections on blind spots. It hurts when someone touches it. Damages, shield, repair, operate, repairs, fittings. Car, autopilot, autoplastic flexibility. Inner adaptation, change of self. Alloplasty: surgical repair of defective tissue by implanting material outside the body. Don't be afraid of the prosthesis. Cross pollination, cross operation, new varieties. Material cross pollinates, multiple perspectives, the You meets Me, the Us. Pollen transplant, pollen surgery. A license to live. How can we see each other through our blind spots?
